Westerns aren't particularly a common occurrence in the cinematic landscape of today, with the genre passing in a bygone era that was dominated by stars such as John Wayne, Clint Eastwood and Charles Bronson. Yet, every now and then, one of these classic gems surfaces - usually in remake - form to try and breathe fresh life into this rarely visited plain of cinema. This time around it's another version of The Magnificent Seven, directed by Antoine Fuqua and spearheaded by an impressive cast including Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt and Ethan Hawke. Chris Pine has really come into his own as one of the most impressive male actors of this generation and once again he shows off his acting prowess in Hell Or High Water, one of the most revered movies of 2016 so far. Joining him in this David MacKenzie drama is Ben Foster, an actor who I believe is massively underrated and deserve many more plaudits for this performance, among plenty of his previous appearances in film. The critics lauded this one with praise so check out my verdict below and see if I agreed with them.

With Halloween almost with us, what better time to re-share my review of the latest entry into the 'Blair Witch' series, directed by Adam Wingard.
Essentially a sequel, the movie follows up on the events of the original movie and thrusts into a new story that combines elements which made the original so successful, along with a refreshing take on the found-footage genre.
It's unnerving, unsettling and one hell of a scary ride, but you can see my full verdict below!
